The English Language Department had the opportunity to participate in the 2025 Piala Pembangunan Oratory Competition, which provided a valuable platform for students to develop their public speaking skills and confidence.

The school was represented by Melva Lim Qian Tong (22007) from S2B, who underwent several practice sessions in preparation for the competition. During these sessions, emphasis was placed on expressing ideas clearly, using appropriate gestures, and maintaining effective eye contact with the judges.

Through consistent practice and dedication, Melva demonstrated significant improvement in her delivery and confidence. Her efforts were rewarded when she successfully secured Second Place in the competition, bringing pride to the school and the English Language Department.
