2024年10月4日，芙中管乐团与Kolej Tunku Kurshiah Wind Orchestra (TKC) 举办了2024年Malaysia International Wind Festival (miwFEST) Concert Band & Ensembles Competition庆功宴，共同庆祝两校在比赛中获得金奖。晚宴期间，两校师生首次面对面交流，彼此热情欢迎，并交换纪念品，增进了双方的友谊。
在交流环节中，芙中管乐团和TKC管乐团的成员们积极互动，彼此分享了各自学校的文化、教学模式及以多语言进行沟通。随后，两校分别进行了乐曲演奏，最后联合演奏《Nada Ragam Melayu》，展现了跨文化合作的音乐魅力。
特别表演环节更是精彩纷呈。，本校校长蔡亲炀博士以他拿手的萨克斯风为大家献上独奏；芙中杰出校友拿督蔡明发也为大家献唱经典名曲《Fly Me to the Moon》；芙中家长会总务陈杰义与Kolej Tunku Kurshiah副校长Cikgu Fairuz也一起合唱了《Kau Ilhamku》给各位出席嘉宾。
此次活动不仅促进了更加深了芙中师生与各民族之间的了解，也将继续与不同学校开展合作交流，以音乐为桥梁，团结马来西亚各族人民，共同打造一个充满和谐与包容的“Malaysia Muhibbah”。
On October 4, 2024, Chung Hua High School (CHHS) Concert Band held a celebratory dinner with Tunku Kurshiah College (TKC) to commemorate their gold medal victories at the 2024 Malaysia International Wind Festival (miwFEST) Concert Band & Ensembles Competition.
During the dinner, students and staff from both schools warmly welcomed one another and took the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, sharing experiences and insights. Following the dinner and networking session, the CHHS Concert Band and TKC Wind Orchestra each delivered a series of captivating performances. The highlight of the evening was when both bands joined forces for a stirring rendition of “Nada Ragam Melayu,” symbolizing the unity and friendship fostered through music.
In addition to the student performances, several special guests also took the stage to contribute their talents to this memorable evening. CHHS Principal Dr. Sua Sin Zang impressed the audience with a saxophone solo, while Dato’ David Chua, Board Advisor of CHHS, performed a heartfelt rendition of “Fly Me to the Moon.” Mr. Dasmond Tan from the CHHS Parents’ Association and Mr. Fairuz, Vice Principal of TKC, further energized the crowd with a duet of the classic Malaysian song “Kau Ilhamku.”
The evening was a celebration not only of musical achievements but also of the bonds formed between two schools of different backgrounds. It highlighted the power of music to bridge cultural gaps and bring people together. Moving forward, Chung Hua High School Seremban will continue to embrace diversity, foster connections with schools across Malaysia, and unite Malaysians through the shared joy of music.
