The 2026 English Elocution Competition
An Elocution Competition was organised by the English Language Department of CHHS on 9 April 2026 (Thursday) from 3:15 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event attracted enthusiastic participation from students ranging from Junior 1 to Senior 3, who delivered speeches on a variety of thought-provoking topics.
The competition aimed to develop students’ public speaking skills, build confidence, and strengthen their stage presence. It also provided a platform for students to express their ideas clearly, refine their communication skills, and overcome stage fright, contributing to their overall personal development.
