The International Space Station(ISS) is a multinational cooperative project, and standing as the largest structure ever constructed in space. Since November 2, year 2000, it has been accommodating crews ranging from three to six individuals, working together to conduct scientific research and maintain the station’s operations.
During their time on the ISS, astronauts conduct experiments, perform maintenance tasks, and engage in a minimum of two hours daily to exercise. In addition to scientific research, they may also participate in public relations events. Crews are responsible for station maintenance both inside and outside, including carring out extravehicular activites for repairs and upkeep.
The ISS serves as a scientific laboratory, enabling groundbreaking research that advances medicine, technology, and our understanding of the universe. Life on board demonstrates international friendship and teamwork as astronauts harmoniously share resources and experiences. The collaborative spirit of ISS will shape future space missions, emphasizing global cooperation, and peaceful coexistence as guiding principles for future endeavors, to explore to the Moon, Mars, and beyond.
