为协助初一新生了解校内多元学会团体、探索个人兴趣方向，由联课处与学联会共同策划的年度学会团体招生展，于1月31日在芙蓉中华中学综合礼堂热闹举行。
活动前一周，英文学会已积极展开筹备工作——设计组精心制作印有学会名称与口号的大型彩色横幅，展板上陈列着历年活动、比赛与成果照片，并准备往期刊物与小纪念品赠予有兴趣的同学，吸引不少新生驻足了解。
活动当天，主席团成员热情讲解学会宗旨、活动内容及参与收获，耐心解答提问，并分享自身经历，鼓励新生勇敢走出舒适圈，加入英文学会的大家庭。
尽管初一新生尚未正式完成注册，此次招生展已为他们提供宝贵的探索机会，同时也增强了学会成员之间的凝聚力与自信心，为新学年发展注入活力。
2026 Society Exhibition cum Recruitment Drive
On 31 January 2026, the multi-purpose hall of our school was abuzz with excitement as the annual Society Exhibition cum Recruitment Drive was held. The event aimed to introduce various clubs and societies to Junior One students, allowing them to explore their interests and decide which society they would like to join.
Preparations began a week earlier. The design group members of the English Language Society worked tirelessly to create an attractive and informative booth background. A large, colourful banner displaying the society’s name and motto was carefully hung at the back of our booth. Photographs of past activities, competitions, and achievements were neatly arranged on display boards to showcase our accomplishments. The registration table was decorated with bright balloons and welcoming signs. We also prepared past vision magazines and small souvenirs to give to interested students.
During the event, the presidium demonstrated admirable dedication and teamwork. They enthusiastically introduced the society’s objectives, activities, and benefits to visiting students. They patiently answered questions and shared personal experiences to inspire confidence among the newcomers.
In addition, the presidium members took the initiative to approach Junior One students, encouraging them to step out of their comfort zones and join our vibrant community.
In conclusion, the exhibition was both meaningful and encouraging for our society. Thanks to the collective effort and well-organised preparations, the event was a great success. Although the Junior One students have yet to register, the exhibition successfully provided them with valuable insights into our activities and goals.
Through the dedication of the presidium, many students gained a clearer understanding of what our society stands for and expressed keen interest. The exhibition served as an important opportunity for them to explore different choices before making their final decision. It also strengthened unity among our members and boosted our confidence as we look forward to welcoming new recruits soon.
