As we approach the first-round application deadline for undergraduate programmes at Hong Kong Metropolitan University (HKMU) for the 2025/26 academic year, we would like to take this opportunity to encourage students to submit their applications online via the link: https://admissions.hkmu.edu.hk/ug/online-application/ by 31 March 2025 to secure their places in our undergraduate programmes for the upcoming academic year.
Founded by the Hong Kong Government in 1989, HKMU is a modern, vibrant and dynamic university. We tailor our academic programmes to adapt to market trends and meet industry needs, thus providing our students with quality professional education and clear career paths. With more than 6,000 local, mainland and overseas internship and practicum places arranged annually, students will gain invaluable hands-on experience that enhances their employability.
We understand that financial considerations are important for many students. That’s why we offer renewable HKMU Admission Scholarships for International Students, with the possibility of receiving the Top Award. This prestigious award not only covers the annual tuition in full, but also offers free accommodation as assigned by the University and the living allowance of HK$45,000 per academic year. More importantly, no separate application is required and all international applicants will automatically be considered for these merit-based scholarships during the selection process. As all applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, we encourage students to apply early to maximise the chance of receiving this valuable award.
